We all dream of sailing off into the sunset. Well, Latitudes & Attitudes turns that particular dream into reality. Like its popular namesake magazine, Lat’s & Att’s is a real life look at sailing and cruising the Seven Seas, be it onboard a classic ketch or your own personal trawler*. As show host and colorful world sailing personality Bob Bitchin advises: “Don’t dream your life, live your dream.”
Even if you don’t have the time or the means to live the cruising dream, Latitudes & Attitudes is big fun. It’s an entertaining, sexy look at the engaging personalities, exotic places and beautiful boats that make the cruising lifestyle so compelling. If you like to socialize, party or just hang out, these salty sailors are your cup of grog. The only risk is that once you see how much fun these folks are having, you’ll want to enlist in Bob’s Navy, too!
Latitudes & Attitudes transports you into the exciting world of liveaboard cruisers, as they sail to gorgeous locales from the tropical South Pacific to the historic Mediterranean; the warm and wonderful Caribbean to the pristine shores of our own Great Lakes. Experts show you the latest in cruising sailboats and long range oceangoing trawlers, innovative new products and special tips. It’s all capped off by “Bob Bitchin’s Attitudes” wherein the fun loving captain delivers humorous, inspirational, sometimes poignant pearls of cruising wisdom he’s gleaned from more than 100,000 miles of blue water sailing.
As Bob likes to say: “The difference between an ordeal and an adventure is attitude.” It’s the kind of attitude that makes Lat’s & Att’s a Water Channel adventure you’ll cruise to every single week.
*If you still think of “trawlers” as slow, fishy-smelling, rusty hulks, adjust that thinking. Today's ocean going trawlers are tough, long range vessels with yacht-like interiors transporting happy cruisers in comfort and style across oceans far and wide. |
