Matt Tambor
Matt Tambor is one of South Florida’s premier fisherman. His enormous talent, knowledge, and outgoing personality make him the ideal host for The Bite! He’s youthful, telegenic, articulate, and, most important, passionate about fishing. Known for his energetic demeanor and slam-bang approach, Matt is without doubt one of South Florida’s most prominent, and competitive, captains. He’s won many of the area’s top fishing tournaments, including two consecutive Bahamas Wahoo Championships and the Yamaha Contender Miami Billfish Tournament, considered the Super Bowl of sailfishing. |

Peter Wolfson
Executive producer and cohost Peter Wolfson brings years of experience in sport fishing and television production to The Bite! After turning out custom shows for clients such as Park Place Entertainment, MGM Resorts, and the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Peter launched the world’s first dance music television station in the South Florida market. About signing on with The Bite! Peter says, “When the opportunity came up for me to team up with Captain Matty and Scott Shane I jumped on it, because it incorporates all of my passions.” |

Scott “Scoot” Shane
Scott Shane is a world-traveling fisherman who brings a wide range of talents and expertise to The Bite! He is both location coordinator and music supervisor for the show, and his mix of reggae, dub, and Caribbean tunes lend a gritty, rockin’ edge to each episode. Scoot’s high spirits, energetic personality, and fishing acumen inject The Bite! with big fun—and big fish. |

Luis Bacardi
A two-time World Billfish Series divisional champion, Luis Bacardi is on the board of directors of the Billfish Foundation. He and his tournament-winning captain, Jim O’Neill, have the enviable avocation of traveling around the globe aboard the Rum Bum in a never-ending search for billfish. Luis is a man to envy; Luis is a man to emulate. |
