Betsy Alison
Cohost Betsy Alison is one of the top sailors in the world. The only five-time Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year, she holds title to 22 national, international, and world championships. Betsy is ranked No. 1 in the world in women’s match racing and was named 1999 Coach of the Year in Sailing by the U.S. Olympic Committee. She has worked extensively with US Sailing as a coach and instructor, and is currently team coach for the U.S. disabled sailing team. She owns and operates Betsy Alison Sailing, a clinic and coaching and consulting business for sailing education. |

Jose Moniz
Cohost Jose Moniz is creator and executive producer of Boating Today. His background in boating goes back to his teen years in California. While in high school, Jose earned extra money customizing and painting hot rods and high-performance ski boats. He later moved to New England, where he applied his skills to larger boats and aircraft. Because of his love of and involvement with boats, he wondered why there weren’t any interesting family boating shows on television. In 1999, Jose decided the time had come, and Boating Today was born. |

Ted Karousas
Chef Ted Karousas is Boating Today’s Galley Gourmet. Ted heads up the International Culinary Institute, along with several award-winning restaurants in the New England area. Ted and his family run the Abbey Grill and Giorgio’s, in Fall River, Massachusetts, and the Sea Fare and Sea Fare American, in Newport, Rhode Island. |
